My name is Anna Mellalieu. I’m a Tauranga-born & raised entrepreneur, author, administration manager, volunteer, friend, pro bridesmaid and most importantly, a Māma.

I absolutely love weddings, and I’ll do everything I can to help make your ceremony feel effortless, meaningful, and completely you. I’m a professional maid of honour and/or bridesmaid (6 times and counting) & I’ve been known to turn into that extra helper at many weddings. At one wedding I found myself behind the photographer, tasked with guiding a very drunk groom through a wedding tunnel. After a very strict "Anna chat" on behalf of the Bride, the moment came, he ran straight at me, arms out,  giving the photographer the perfect money shot as the bridal party lost it behind him, whatever it takes to keep the day running smoothly. 

But in all seriousness, weddings don’t always follow a perfect timeline and I understand that deeply. My own wedding came together in just three weeks so my (late) father could be there to walk me down the isle, the stress, heartbreak and mixed emotions pushed me to my limits and it taught me just how many ups and downs can come with your "special" day. My beautiful Dada grew his Angel wings (a month to the day) after our Wedding day. 

If you’re planning under pressure, navigating changing circumstances, or working with a tight deadline, I'm here. I will bring calm, care, and steady guidance through the whirlwind, while holding space for every feeling that shows up, from pure joy and laughter to the tender, heart touching moments that matter most. I'm also really good at giving lectures (apparently), so if anyone needs a lecture, pep talk or just a deep & meaningful on on the day, I'm ya girl. 

From hearing your dream ceremony ideas to making sure my colours actually match your theme (trust me, I’ve heard some horror stories—just ask me when we meet ), nothing is overlooked.

I’m here to make your special day as magical as possible! Whether it’s a breathtaking cliff top ceremony in the afternoon, a romantic beach sunrise/sunset celebration, or an 11 PM “let’s get married” party for your family across the globe to lunchtime livestream. I’m all about knot the norm. Love knows no time zone, and with a lot of caffeine on my side, I’m sure I can accommodate your wishes, I'll even promise my outfit matches your theme (trust me, I’ve heard some horror stories) nothing is overlooked..
